+ Why do I need a financial planner?
Life happens. In the past ten years, we've personally experienced changing careers, financing college, relocating multiple times, losing a parent, starting businesses, getting married, having a child, and buying a home.
Our guess is that you have or will experience similar circumstances. These circumstances tend to be time consuming and difficult to navigate.
Money has a way of touching and affecting every aspect of life. We believe you need a trusted financial planner to assist you through life as it happens. You'll likely feel more peace and achieve greater progress as well.
+ What kind of people do you work with?
We focus on providing financial planning services to those preparing for retirement. We especially enjoy working with young families, professionals, and entrepreneurs who share in the belief that a trusted financial advisor can have a substantial, positive impact on their lives.
+ Who is your typical client?
Young families, professionals, and entrepreneurs who are serious and committed to making good financial decisions. However, they often lack the time, the interest, or the experience to do it on their own.
+ Do we need to have a minimum new worth to be a client?
No, we do not require a minimum net worth in order to work with us. Our Foundational Wealth program is designed to serve clients with a wide range of needs and assets - regardless of net worth.
+ How do you get paid?
Plain and simple: we're paid directly by our clients. Trident Financial Planning, LLC operates as a fee-only financial advisory firm which means that we do not sell investments or insurance products nor do we earn any compensation based upon commissions.
+ Why the name, Trident Financial Planning?
Trident refers to the Navy SEAL insignia Brett earned in his time in the military. It's a constant and effective reminder of the dedication, discipline, and standard of service to which he adheres.
+ Do you work with people outside of Colorado?
Certainly. We've designed the tools and resources to serve clients easily and securely from any location with an internet connection.
+ Are you committed to working in my best interests at all times?
Most definitely. Our firm serves under both the spirit and legal standard of a fiduciary advisor. This means that we are not only professionally dedicated, but also legally obligated to place your best interests ahead of our own - at all times.
+ Do I have to pay for the first meeting?
No, our first meeting will typically be over the phone. This gives us a chance to determine if working together makes sense. During this meeting, we'll get to know each other a bit and we'll answer any questions you have about our process and fees. You may also take a look at our "Services" page which contains our current fees.
+ What's the next step?
Schedule a free, no-obligation 30 minute phone call. By the end of the call, we'll know if moving forward together makes sense.
